Take some time to reconnect with yourself, others, and the Divine through this slow-flow vinyasa series. We will focus on the practice of being present through mindful poses, awareness of the breath, and attention to alignment of the body. Many people do yoga for the physical benefits of stretching and strengthening. Leah will encourage you to also see yoga as a spiritual practice to slow down and intentionally connect with yourself and with God.

A 20-year practitioner of yoga, Leah Thomas pursued her 200-hour certification in Alignment Yoga from West End Yoga to share her love of yoga with others. She is passionate about creating space for students of all levels to tap into their bodies, while also finding ease through breath and proper alignment. Leah also holds a Ph.D. in pastoral care, and when she’s not practicing yoga, can be found teaching at Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary.

LENT SERIES – Each Thursday, we will have a new presenter sharing a practice that is meaningful to them. Try out new ways to connect with God during these interactive workshops. Pick and choose those that interest you most. Or register for all 6 for the price of 5.
