20 hours of CEUs available! As a university accredited by the Council on Social Work Education, Millersville University School of Social Work is approved by the State Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists and Professional Counselors to provide Continuing Education Units (CEUs) to qualified participants.

For better or worse, our work environments have been irreversibly altered. Learn how to continue providing effective services as you work in a remote format. If you are a clinician, coach, spiritual director, helping professional, or other practitioner, this training will speak directly into your practice as you learn to sit with others in a new way.

Annie Lengacher Browning and Annmarie Early created this course out of personal experience. When they started working largely online in 2017, they quickly realized that they were using a completely different set of skills. They could not sit in a room with someone and rely on their five physical senses to fully notice what was happening. They started to rely more on their spiritual senses to orient themselves and provide effective services in a virtual capacity. They found that accessing their right brain processing allowed a deeper level of engagement, one that was incredibly profound and transformative.

Hear about their journey in their own words:

Some practitioners may return to meeting in person but almost everyone will continue some level of remote and online communication. This training will help you to build a direct and engaged rapport with others, track a process from beginning to end using your spiritual senses, and create a lasting impact.

Explore research that supports the importance of the intuitive and then ways to use it in applied practice. Learn to access implicit knowing and open awareness to subtle shifts that allow you to track healing processes in a growing age of virtual connection. Participants will leave the training with foundational skills for expanding their practice to include spiritual senses.

The recorded sessions and live calls are highly experiential and will include learning, application, practice, and reflection. You will engage with your cohort to learn from your peers’ professional and life experiences.

The rhythm of each month will include:

  • One teaching week including a pre-recorded teaching video for you to complete at your own pace plus a live 60 minute online session during which you will experience a guided process, conversation, and practice;
  • Three weeks of weekly guided practice videos that can be done at your convenience and returned to many times;
  • A monthly written reflection (1-2 pages);
  • An online forum to engage with your cohort for mutual support.

Choose Tier 1 at registration to gain access to additional live calls with Annie and Annmarie! These monthly 30 minute Q&A calls are an excellent chance to take your complex questions deeper. You and your peers’ questions will direct this time, helping you apply your learning to your unique situations.
