*August 12 will be outdoors, by the Millstream on the LMS campus next door to PRC! Please come 5-10 minutes early and meet at PRC to walk over together. (In case of inclement weather, the class will take place but be moved indoors to the PRC).

The definition of yoga is union. Take some time to reconnect with yourself, others, and the Divine through this slow-flow vinyasa series. Each week we will focus on the practice of being present through mindful poses, awareness of the breath, and attention to alignment of the body. Yoga has been shown not only to have physical benefits of increased strength and flexibility, but also to decrease stress and anxiety. Start your week with a greater sense of groundedness for what lies ahead.

A 20-year practitioner of yoga, Leah Thomas pursued her 200-hour certification in Alignment Yoga from West End Yoga to share her love of yoga with others. She is passionate about creating space for students of all levels to tap into their bodies, while also finding ease through breath and proper alignment. Leah also holds a Ph.D. in pastoral care, and when she’s not practicing yoga, can be found teaching at Lancaster Theological Seminary.
