Learn the basics in Human Resources Management through HR involvement in different stages in the employee life-cycle. This workshop will equip managers and committees with tools and resources to empower their staff to work toward mission objectives while meeting legal requirements.  Workshop participants will be able to:

  • Understand the life-cycle of an employee
  • Build robust and relevant job descriptions
  • Create policies for staff and volunteers

Emily Stednick has over 15 years of experience in human resources, specializing in not-for-profit and church-related organizations. Her experience includes developing HR processes and policies, compliance, employee relations, performance management, recruiting, benefits, compensation and training.
