We're sorry, but all tickets sales have ended because the event is expired.

Do conversations about outreach at your church begin and end with married couples with 2.2 kids and a dog? Do you always focus on growing your youth group and bringing in young people? You might be missing out on a large, dynamic population of people around you, with skills, resources, and needs.

The country and the church are aging. Lancaster County has been listed as the top place to retire in the nation. However, many churches are not proactively including the aging people around them. Come learn about this large and neglected local field of missions. We will also brainstorm creative ways for our congregations to grow connections with those who are aging, both within and beyond our church walls.

Larry Guengerich works for Landis Communities, a leading aging services provider in Lancaster County. He has a post-Bachelor’s diploma in Public Relations and has spent 30 years working in PR for faith-based organizations. He is one of the few who can claim to be born in Aspen, Colorado, and he grew up in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
