Dr. Cordelia Moyse has deep experience of development and fundraising. Before moving to Lancaster in 2008 she lived in the UK and worked for Christian Aid, a coalition of over 40 church denominations that funds projects in some of the world’s poorest countries. More recently she was the Development Director for the Lancaster Cleft Palate Clinic. Cordelia has also served as President of the Friends of the Lancaster Public Library and is currently on the board of the YWCA.
Cordelia is also a church historian with a Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge. She is particularly interested in women’s experience of church and family life. She is the author of The History of the Mothers’ Union: Women, Anglicanism and Globalization, 1876-2008. She has taught at Lancaster Theological Seminary and is currently a visiting scholar at Franklin and Marshall College.
