Who We Are

Parish Resource Center was founded 42 years ago in Lancaster. We exist to help organizations which, although diverse in size, mission, and geographical location, seek to serve the common good in their community.

Our approach is practical. We share resources and ideas by providing programming to churches and nonprofits.

Our aim is to increase the capacity of organizations’ staff, volunteers, and boards so that they can more effectively deliver their goals and mission.

Testimonials

Leslie Rice

Otterbein United Methodist Church

“The staff of the Parish Resource Center continues to be a valuable resource. They were instrumental in helping with the design and implementation of our church website, our Facebook page, and our email accounts. In addition, we called upon them as a resource for our children and youth program. Every inquiry, concern, or request for support is addressed in a timely and professional manner. Our partnership with the Parish Resource Center this past year has been a key piece in the ongoing ministry of Otterbein.”

Rev. Eric Landram

Pastor Lititz Church of the Brethren

“I cannot express just how grateful I am for the community and staff at the Parish Resource Center. As a pastor and preacher the resources and space prove invaluable for me. I look forward to my time spent at the PRC since I’ve come to see it as my office away from my office. The hospitality of the staff and the quiet space provided help me focus, study, and create. As a pastor new to Lancaster County I have also made some wonderful connections with colleagues in neighboring churches. What a blessing it is to have a place to come together and talk ministry and opportunity!”
